New Forums

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

As an experiment I’ve created a bulletin board (forums) for the show. I don’t know if there’s any interest in using them, but the link is below.
If you post something for me you won’t get a reply until Monday-ish. Imma camping for Canada Day!

Why The Penguin?

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

The Oregonian (Oregon being the state where Linus Torvalds - the creator of Linux - lives and works) ran a small little article with some random thoughts of Linus’ in it. It’s whimsical and gives you a little insight into Linus’ mind.

Show #4 Correction.

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

Aren’t the names enough to make you want to try it out?

RSS Feed Info

Friday, June 24th, 2005

I thought that the RSS feed used to subscribe to the show was down this morning, but apparently I was wrong. Here’s what happened:
I clicked the RSSS 2.0 button and was presented with basically the html of the blog entries, but not a proper looking RSS feed. Based on that I thought it was down. […]

This Week’s Show

Wednesday, June 22nd, 2005

I think the biggest comment I hear about Linux is that it’s hard to install programs because of all the compiling usually required, and hard to find them once they are installed.
