It occurs to me that some of my listeners may be on dial-up and therefore downloading a many-hundred-meg Live CD to try out a Linux distro may not be feasible.

If you’re one of these people, drop me an email to thelinuxusershow at gmail dot com; tell me what distro you’d like, and give me a mailing address. I’ll download (or copy if I have it sitting around) a copy of the distro and mail it to you.

For now let’s keep requests to Live CDs only as downloading full distros all day long will get unmanageable very quickly. As well, my offer is for regular old Canada Post mailing. If you want the CD faster, let me know and I’ll calculate shipping for you.

On that note, my Puppy Linux Live CD just finished downloading and I’m off to play with that.
