Ubuntu is giving away their CDs, not me. Click on the link in the post above to be taken to their Shipit page. You can order as many CDs as you want from there.

Free Linux CDs

As was posted on The Linux User Show, Ubuntu is distributing free Linux CDs — and they pay for the shipping!
If you’re even slightly interested in trying a Linux distro, this would be a good place to start (there’s no cost to you).

Heya Smurf!

I’m totally looking forward to by Ubuntu disks coming. I’ve always wanted t oplay with a Debian based distro but never really had an excuse. Now that Ubuntu is giving away free CDs, I have 10 on the way. Can’t wait to get them :)

Ubuntu is a great debian distro that has finally unplugged me from Window dependency. The usability, ease of install and great support groups make me think I may have found MY distro. The only issue I had was my wacom and I got that going. I’m not intending to start any flame wars but I just wanted to put my 2 cents in. ( I have always wanted to try the Calgary LUG but have never found any info. Now there’s a podcast…. I LOVE IT!)
