Beginner Linux Books
I’m flattered to have been approached by Addison-Wesley/Prentice Hall publishers to review two of their upcoming books.
The books are called Moving to Linux, Second Edition: Kiss the Blue Screen of Death Goodbye!, 2nd Edition by Marcel Gagné (http://www.awprofessional.com/title/0321356403) and Peter van der Linden’s Guide to Linux® by Peter van der Linden (http://www.phptr.com/title/0131872842).
As soon as I get my grubby little hands on them, I’ll launch into them both. I’ll provide a review on my opinions of both books, and more than likely have one or both authors on the show.
Stay tuned!

Grats Jon,
I have seen Marcel on Leo Laporte’s Call for Help several times as the look at different Linux programs and distos. If Marcel is good enough for leo he is good enough for me :)

Nice - thanks. I’m looking forward to getting the books but I realistically don’t expect them for a couple of weeks.
Thanks for stopping by!
