The Linux User Show #008
The Linux User Show #008 (MP3 - 16.6MB - 48min)
This week we respond to a listener request and talk about the various places to get help when you run into problems. We talk about getting help from your Linux system itself (man and command line help) and the KDE window manager. Then we take a step outside the box and check out some websites and books. Finally, Kelly Penguin Girl tells us what she thinks of the KDE help system
We talk a bit about the Win4Lin contest, but at the time of the recording I hadn’t received confirmation on how the licenses were to be distributed therefore there’s no contest-specific information in this show. We give you some hints on what you can expect, but never fear - the contest will not start until show #9 (next week!).
Edit: I now have confirmation from Win4Lin about the licenses. Stay tuned for show number 9 to win some goodies!
