Some of you may recall that I have a fund raising campaign going on to raise money for a test machine for use on the show. I have a machine that’s almost complete, but needs a NIC and some RAM.

I’m running the campaign on Fundable.org and it ends on September 19th. The neat thing about Fundable.org is that if the target money ($100) isn’t raised by the deadline date then everyone gets their money back.

I’ve only mentioned this once on the show blog before because I feel kind of bad flogging for money. Somce very generous listeners have already contributed money to the cause and we’re sitting at just a little under half the target. However, the reality is that there are certain topics that I just can’t cover without a test machine because I’m not willing to cripple my main machine to test some of the more volatile stuff.

Anyhow, I had a conversation last night with a listener which made me realize that there probably is more interest in the idea than I thought. So, for what it’s worth - the link is below. If you’d like to contribute $5 (I can’t figure out how to make Fundable allow you to specify whatever amount you want, so it’s set to the minimum $5 increments) or more, then please click the link and help out.
