Positive Notes.
I’ve written a post on my personal blog about keeping things positive in the new GNU/Linux user space. It was sparked by a book I read (which I found to be kind of negative) and then hearing the author of the book on another podcast and feeling the same negative vibe come out.
I’m not going to post it here because it’s not really helpful to new users, but I thought I’d mention it in case anyone is interested in my thoughts. I think it’s important to keep a positive vibe going on when (trying!) to teach people new things and sometimes I come across people who tend to teach by showing how bad the alternative is. I don’t think that’s all that productive.
Here’s the link if anyone’s interested.
