Cosmopod has recently launched offering just such a beast utilizing the KDE desktop operating in kiosk mode. Their servers are getting hammered right now and I can’t get logged in, but I’m sure trying!
The first one to get in has to report back here :)

hi guys. yeah, sorry about that. we received so much interest in such a short time period that our servers fell over. We are upgrading our infrastructure to handle the increased load. Bear with us.

How do you connect to it. Every time i do it says error unknown. Any help would be appreciated………………………………………………………….

I actually haven’t tried to connect in a week or so. When I get back home, I’ll give it a whirl and see what happens for me.
