Wnat a free, online desktop?

Moving Show Furl.

Thursday, October 27th, 2005

I’ve decided to use de.lirio.us instead of Furl (or del.icio.us for that matter) to store the show’s bookmarks collection. This is largely due to the fact that de.lirio.us uses the open Xfolk bookmark standard which is a good thing ™.
I’ll be moving the bookmarks over the next few days. Until I’m done I’ll link both […]

GNU/Linux HOWTO Site.

Monday, October 10th, 2005

Digg actually had a useful link on it today: a link to a GNU/Linux HOWTO site. There are tons of articles on here about installing different distros and how to configure them post-install.

Sometimes there’s no package available for an application we want to use, or the latest package available isn’t the latest version of […]

There’s been a few requests for a quick and dirty listing of all the shows so far. I’ve created one on my personal wiki, complete with links.
I’ll put the link in the sidebar, but it’s here as well.

Interesting Article and Links.

Wednesday, September 21st, 2005

Listener Tony emailed me this link today. It’s an excellent article on the pros and cons of some distros and how suitable they might be for new users.
Link to article.
Also - don’t forget to check out the show Furl (link here and in the sidebar). I’m always adding new pages and links to it.
